$$$How to Save money with Beauty Products!$$$

Hello everyone! Short and sweet post on how to save on beauty products, particularly haulers, like myself.

1. Admit you have a problem.
Now, I know you're probably going to give your computer screen a weird face suggesting "she did not just assume I have a problem?!". Ok, maybe I'm being too blunt, but that was what crossed my mind when I realized I was spending too much on beauty products, when I could save up or use it on something else more important!

2.Stop your beauty addict instinct.
When shopping for toiletries, fight with all your might to ignore the makeup section. I know you're just getting shampoo and conditioner, but that new lipgloss is calling your name! Don't let temptation defeat you! Get what you need and get out of the store!

3.Make a shopping list, with no makeup products listed.
I'll admit, whenever I go out to just get a pack of toilet paper, I end up coming home with at least three bags full of makeup that I probably won't use. Before heading to shop, make a list, check it twice for no makeup stuff, and use #2. You can do it!

4.Wager and Bargain.
Did you know that $50 bb cream could've went towards your new jogging shoes, or possibly a change of season clothes? Take your time when shopping. Wager what you can live without, and what you can't live without today. What is on sale, might actually help your pocket. But if you're tempted to get that new lipstick, here's the next wake up call.

5. Dupe it!
For whoever hasn't heard of dupes yet, it's a term where you find a drugstore product or lower price item, that matches perfectly or really near to a high department store or expensive brand. Research online about dupes, they might just help your wallet!

6.DIY Beauty.
I've saved a lot on using DIY Beauty products instead of the department store ones. You can make your own items, if you research hard enough, you could even make mineral makeup, and you'll save a lot with money, and help your skin too!

7.Use it, lose it, buy it.
I would've called it recycle, but that's just unsanitary. Use up what you always use, then buy another one. Don't buy it on impulse or because you're worried you'll run out of your barely untouched gel liner.

8. Figure out what you use more and less.
This will help you determine what you really don't need, and what you usually often use. What you use almost every day or every occasion, stick to it. This will be your basic routine list if you run out of things.

9.For the things you rarely use.
If you rarely use certain products for any reason, either throw it out altogether, or save up for a new one if you haven't used it in awhile. I know a few ladies that love to haul high end brands, but rarely use them. Either throw it out, or carefully store it in room temperature, away from sunlight organizers to last shelf life. You could even donate it!

10. Research.
Not finding out how that mascara is on you might just make you lose money on your end. go online and find reviews that are similar to your skintype, or type of lashes you have, or what kind of hair you have. Things like that will help determine whether or not buying it is worth it, and you won't waste time on staring at it in the store for a few hours like a weirdo (cough cough, I do that lol).

11.Reward yourself.
There comes a time or period where you can't afford it, but you buy it anyway( you know it). Nobody is perfect. Save up, maybe three months, and after that three month period, reward yourself with a mini haul! You don't need to shop for that new item every trip to the store.

I hope this helped you. These little rules helped me with holding back from buying a ton of things I either won't use, wouldn't like, or just from an impulse. Take it baby steps, you'll be fine, and hey, there are other useful things to get besides another tube of mascara to add to your collection!
