Hello everyone! As promised, I've gathered all my papers and finally have the time to jot down my impressions on the Clean & Clear Essentials Skincare Routine. Each product I will go through in detail to my knowledge, and if I'd reccomend this product to certain skin types and so on.

First up....
This Foaming Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin has impressed me in a few ways. I have tried a handful of sensitive skin skincare cleansers, and none held up to how effective it was to clearing my skin gently. One pump is more than enough for my whole face and neck, and the smell of it is pleasant. It reminds me of those expensive hotel soaps. It claims that it "washes away problem- causing dirt, oil, and makeup without overdrying". All claims on the package have exceeded my standards. I always film my makeup tutorials with a medium or sheer coverage of tinted moisturizer or foundation, and also with my eye makeup, which my mascara is always in waterproof, this cleanser has gently removed all of it without overdrying my skin. I've noticed it also has helped with my nose. The blackheads and oily build up softens and I'm able to use a pore strip to get all that grit off my face. I have to say though, I did have a semi dry spots around my face where I usually do have dry patches, but it wasn't so major where I would need moistruzer. I've used this twice a day, morning and night, right before I go to bed, and the foaming feel of the cleanser feels like the oilyness and dirt is just lifting off of my skin. I also like that after drying my face, there's no left over residue left, or at least what I can't feel. It just feels like pure just cleaned skin! This is also Oil-Free, a plus for acne prone or combination/oily skin types. If you're ordering on their website online, it'll direct you to their Amazon Site  where you can order it for $7.34, not including shipping and handling.

This is step number 2 in the Essential routine. The first time I used this Deep Cleaning Astringent , I applied on to a cotton ball, and used it on my face in circular motions. The smell reminds me of grapefruit, yum right? Do be careful though, because the cover for this is sturdy, but you might swig too much on to your cotton ball, and you'll end up with a really wet cottonball. Less is more in this case. About four drops for each cottonball, four cottonballs for each part of my face and neck. When I did apply it on my face, near my eyes, I had a slight stinging sensation on my eyes, I thought would have been because of the scent of the toner, or because this toner contains alcohol. I bet it was  the alcohol, so just be careful when you apply near your eyes. I have combination oily skin during the winter, and this has come in handy so much for my t zone! It's also oil free, and I don't feel any residue left either after using this. Applied to my nose , it tightens up my pores, and it feels like it's actually cleaning my pore walls, it's interesting! This toner has also helped with my acne scars, don't worry, before and after pics will be shown after all this review! If you're ordering on their website online, it'll direct you to their Amazon site, where you can order it for $3.76, not including shipping and handling.

Step 3.....
The Dual Action Moisturizer Oil - Free claims that it " moisturizes dry skin, treats & helps prevent pimples". Before this moisturizer, I had been using the Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Control Moisturizer. Compared to that, this dual action moisturizer was perfect for me. I would use this over the advantage moisturizer for a few reasons. First off, it feels like a lightweight lotion, it doesn't feel like a cream at all. The smell is subtle, when applied to freshly cleaned skin it sinks into your skin and leaves a soft, velvety feel. It does have Salicylic Acid in it, just like the toner, but I couldn't tell if it treated my breakouts or not. I have used this under my makeup along with primer, and it doesn't make my foundation come up cakey, let alone leave streaks. I highly recommend this if you have combination oily skin like me. I mainly use it on my upper part of my mouth, my nose because it seems to control my oilyness, and also on my cheeks, which are second to the driest on my face.
One pump is enough for my whole face, I adore this as a face moisturizer! If you're ordering on their website online, it'll direct you to their Amazon site, where you can order it for $5.99, not including shipping and handling.

Here is my Before and After pics. Before on the left, After on the Left.

The before pictures were from mid December, my skin was in the midst of breaking out, because of my monthly, sorry for the TMI, but it does make a difference when I started to use this in my daily skincare routine! I haven't used any other facial product other than the Essentials products I was given, and the after pictures are that result!
The after pictures are from January 18th of 2013. A little over a month.Like the first time I tried Clean & Clear for the first time, I am on Shark Week status again, yipee.By the way, I'm covering my forehead with my bangs because I had a very random pimple bump, but at least I'm honest to tell you I had the random breakout. I thought nothing of it just because I have my shark week going on. This isn't a miracle worker, but it does work, and for me I'm loving it!:)  But you can clearly tell my dark spots where I have discoloration have evened out, the breakouts I had have disappeared or slightly calmed down. However, it hasn't calmed down my oily t zone, but controlled it, in a sense that I have to use these products everyday, or my face will feel like I just too a 5 mile run and haven't toweled my face down, gross, I know.
I'd recommend this skincare routine to anyone who has combination skin, oily skin, or acne prone skin, and of course sensitive skin. Since puberty at the age of 13, I have had major breakouts, I've tried many skincare routines, and this one takes the cake. It's simple, yet if targeted where I needed it the most.
