Hello beauty addicts! Today I'm featuring the LAST Target Beauty Bag.
" THE LAST BEAUTY BAG FROM TARGET?! HOW CAN YOU SAY SUCH A THING!?"
I know right? it's sad, but I think they were probably not having enough higher profits to "promote" the free products we were getting every season. Hopefully they change their minds! I love free stuff, but the coupon book really took a hit with saving. I've heard though in Hawai'i at least, they are limiting coupon clippings to three per purchase....WHAT?! Let's hope that rumor turns out NOT to be true.
All the while, here is what I received, as many other Target Style lovers also have gotten in their mail this past month. I didn't think to do a video on "unboxing" it, just because I thought the products in this bag wasn't really worth to show, other than the Pixi Primer, which was only a small amount.
As everyone knows by now, Target's signature beauty bag box! I received it about 7 weeks from the time I entered.
I fell in love with the bag when they did a "sneak peek" of what was in store for us applying for it! Animal print, what else can I say? ;) There's a semi-rough texture to it, vinyl maybe? The lining is plain black, but I was NOT impressed with the damage of it.
As you can see on the bottom of the lining, it seems the samples that came with it, and I guess the friction of the shipment or when they were assembling the products into the bag, teared the lining of it, so now I can see the outside of the bag:/ Oh well, it was free, but I would have liked it to be intact, so I could maybe have given it away with little makeup goodies.
The Loreal EverCreme Conditioner, Shampoo, and Conditioning Masque has had some good reviews on YouTube, so I might hold onto this when I want a "Spa Day" for myself:) This was a huge plus being that you also get the conditioning masque, I've never tried those types of hair care products before, so we'll see how that goes!
Ahhh yes, my HOLY GRAIL SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER OF ALL TIME! The Clear Scalp and Hairl Therapy Total Care version is my absolute favorite shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo has helped me with less of an itchy scalp, less snowy dandruff (TMI I know:P), while the conditioner has helped heal and soften my damaged hair from heating tools and prevents future split ends. Ever since I chopped my hair off to my chin length, I've noticed the split ends were to a minimal, and my hair didn't look so dry as well.HIGHLY recommend this to anyone that's been looking for a new hair duo.
The Jergens Daily Moisture lotion. I have this, and it works wonders the times I have super dry skin. I've been using this frequently right after I jump out of the shower, now that it's cold during the nights and hot during the day, my skin can't make up it's mind to give me moisture or not. I use this mostly on my legs, kness, elbows, and my face. Sometimes my palms feel ashy, I use that as well.
I haven't heard of the Fekkai shampoo and conditioner before, and the mint green packaging led me to it being a "refreshing shampoo and conditioner". This is just to make your hair shiny and smooth, no minty scent either. For some reason I have been obsessed with mint lately, maybe it's just the time of the season:).
This Pixi primer works great with my foundations! I use it as a highlighter on top of my foundation, or I use it under my foundation on my cheekbones, forehead, and chest to give myself a healthy glow. It's a bit on the light beige side, but with my foundation shade, I didn't see any difference when it came to a white cast on my face while taking pictures.
The coupon book that saves us money! I love the savings that were in this book this month. I only wanted the discounts for Olay, Maybelline, Aveeno, Neutrogena, CoverGirl, and Nivea. I can't wait to do a small haul again but save at the same time..eek!:) Although each coupon were like $1 off, to $3 off, I don't mind, you're saving money in the end! I hope you all enjoyed this little blogpost on me rambling about the Target Beauty Bag...Until next time Aloha!<3
