How to Temporarily Color your Eyebrows with Eyeshadow (Featuring I-Candy Couture Accessories)

Hello everyone! Here is a tutorial how-to, on coloring your eyebrows. I love colored eyebrows, but I would never dye them because I'm too paranoid with anything making me go blind faster than I already will be in a few years (haha). It's fairly easy and simple, takes practice, but once perfected, you'll look marvelous!

Here's what you're going to need:
Eyeliner or Eyebrow brush
.Concealer or Heavy Coverage Foundation
.Colored Eyebrow Pencil or a color base of your choice. (I'm using a white base to bring out the bright colors more.)
.Qtips
.Clean Mascara brush or spooly
.Four Eyeshadows of choice, Each pair one Bright one dark.(explain later)

Start off with clean groomed brows.Like so:)
Apply your base on to your eyebrows shown. You can also use any colored eyebrow pencil that would match your eyeshadow that you'd be using to fill in your eyebrows. The base I'm using is L.A. Colors Jumbo eye pencil in Seashells.
Take your eyeliner brush of choice and start to distribute the base evenly. It's ok if your natural eyebrow color can still be seen, you can always go back and add more base if needed. You don't need to be super accurate, the main thing is to cover your brows.
As you can see here, I'm actually going with a q tip and swiping the excess base where I don't want it to be. Basically cleaning up the edges of my brows.
Here's where the eyeshadows come in. You're going to need a dark eyeshadow, and a light eyeshadow. Try to stick in the same color range to have a more blended eyebrow color. I used a Turquoise shadow called Kitty, and Sweet Kicks (Remix wrong label) which is a darker blue, both from I-Candy Couture Accessories (www.i-candycouture.com
Apply your lighter color from the inside, and work your way to your arch of your brow. You can build up the color to how you'd like it, it took me only two coats of shadow.Try to use a packing motion instead of sweeping motion to prevent fallout and your eyebrow base from moving around.
Take Sweet Kicks, the darker blue, and apply it on the arch of your brow, and blend inwards where Kitty is, for a "natural" blend of filled in brows than just two solid colors, and finish off with your brow with a tip end.
This is what your eyebrow should look like. As you can see there are traces of the white base still peeping out from my eyebrows, so I'm going to fix that by using a qtip and removing the white edges.
Taking a picture with flash will definitely help you to determine whether or not there is enough eyeshadow color, if you missed any spots, and also to determine if you can still see your base. You wouldn't want to take pictures with friends and have your eyebrows have a white cast on them!:)

NOW, here's another try at it, but with a colored base.

The base I'm using on my brow is NYX's Purple Jumbo eye pencil.I'll be using Graffix, a bubble gum pink as my light color, and Only in my Dreams, a dark fuschia, as my darker color. You can get these shadows from I-Candy Couture also: www.i-candycouture.com

I applied Grafix in my inner part and worked my way out. This took a few more layers of eyeshadow to bring out the cotton candy pink I wanted, but every shadow has different pigmentation, especially when working with a colored base already.Remember to use packing motions to avoid fallout!
Only in my dreams on the outer part of the brow, it is already a very pigmented shadow, so I had an easy one layer with no effort.

Now, that your'e coloring is done, we're going to blend the two colors even more for a more "perfect filled " eyebrow!
Use a clean mascara or spooly of your choice to blend the arch of the brow. Use gentle light strokes so you don't disturb your color too much.
Now to conceal! This will help with bring your colored brows to stand out, and it'll perfect the eyebrow filling technique!
Apply it to your top and bottom of your brows, you can also use it on the inner ends if you'd like but it isn't necessary.
You can either blend the concealer out with your finger or with a synthetic brush. I say to use a synthetic brush if you'd like because it'll hold the concealer better and in my opinion it'll even out the concealer also.

So this is my final look! I hope you had fun trying this out, and if you haven't please do! It's so simple, it just takes practice! I have used this to fill my brows naturally and it has worked:)Enjoy!
