I was'nt so fond of dry shampoos, because of the dryness it made my hair feel, and how weird is a shampoo that's dry, when your whole life you were surrounded by shampoo products that produced bubbles in the bathtub?
Aside from that, I bought TWO spray cans of TRESemme's Fresh Start Dry shampoo at Walmart, $1.50 each., because it was a mini travel size bottle. It says on the front label;
"Dry shampoo for oily/straight to normal hair, Waterless oil and odor remover with mineral clay & Citrus"
My first thought was, " I don't have straight hair, but I got oily hair, what the heck I'll try it."
The process only took 4 minutes at the least.
It also CLEARLY STATED ;
"ARNING: FLAMMABLE DO NOT USE PRODUCT NEAR FIRE, FLAME OR UNDER PRESSURE. DO NOT SMOKE UNTIL HAIR IS THOROUGHLY DRY.
So I know I have some smoker fans on my channel, so like it stated, try not to smoke until it's dry :)
I did as the instructions told me to.
I brushed my hair so there were no tangles and knots
I sprayed lightly in small bursts and evenly throughout my hair starting from my top to bottom of my hair, holding the bottle 20 centimeters away, or about an arm length away is fine too.
I let it sit for about 2 minutes
Then brushed it out!
Simple as that, but here's my experience. While I was spraying my hair, I couldn't help but notice the odor of citrus mixed into hairspray, that I could literally taste it. That was a con lol.
While I waited for the 2 minute waiting period to be over, I could see that my hair started to turn white where I had spread the product, and I kind of freaked out. But after the waiting period, I brushed it out with my CONAIR brush and had to brush it a few times to get the white substance to dissapear, and felt like my hair was dry but smooth. Now doing this blog post, I touched my hair and it feels as if theres actual product in there, like hairspray. But running my hand through my hair, it doesnt have that hairspray feeling anymore.
So in my experience, I actually like this product, except for the fact the smell is VERY strong. I hope they come up with a dry conditioner, that would help my frizzy hair A LOT!
