Makeup and Drama doesn't equal a new eyeshadow color!

I have seen many talented and gorgeous makeup artists bashing and rudely critiquing other makeup artists AND people who love makeup in general of how they either apply it, the end result, or how they even look without makeup. I have had enough watching everyone rip each other's hair extensions out, fake nails in each others face and destroying your own makeup brushes to turn it into shanks for the all out war to have a stature of being better than anyone in the makeup community. I haven't in my 3 years of makeup artistry have seen drama this much to think it was a big deal.

One of the reasons I needed to address this silly situation, is because it has now attacked my own makeup family, and even seeing the statuses on my facebook is completely ridiculous. What's even more idiotic, is that in the end they say they don't care, when all they have done was make themselves look like the victim, and vice versa. It comes down to it that not just any makeup artist is cut out for this community. It really is a competition, but if you're strong enough to stand your ground and prove what you love to do for the rest of your lide, you go girl!

Another reason to this blog post is the fact that I've been hearing from everywhere on the internet that some girl copied this girl's makeup look EXACTLY. Theoretically, there is no such thing as copying the exact look unless you are HER. It makes no sense to get in a fit when clearly she must've had an inspiration to do a look maybe somewhat like yours, when clearly she's using different products from what you were using.

What disturbs me even more, it's targeting even the newbies of the makeup community. Youtube Gurus that I am a fan of, I've come to dislike. They either tweet a picture of someone's look and call it a straight up mess, and have the audacity to let others bash on the person's picture, no positive feedback at all. OR, they post it on a blog, post a video about a person's mistake that clearly they know about and will fix in the near future. Really? Is our species really that cruel to email the girl that she should kill herself?

Bullying and teasing in general is downright wrong, so why put it to use in the makeup industry? It doesn't end well, and it only becomes worse for a girl's self esteem when she logs into any account of hers and sees cruel comments about her passion for makeup. It just comes to show how messed up people can be, claws out.

Business wise, I can see how you might think this would be a disadvantage to the other company, but it's not worth anyone's time. It just ends either badly or just keeps fueling the fire throughout the year, downright senseless. I especially hate the gossip and backstabbing spies that would go around, just to get a buck or two, or to get a certain position for the company, which might not matter, since they could throw you out anytime, thinking your a double agent. I deeply am saddened by the reality of business drama. It's a pain in the bottom and I wouldn't want it in my cosmetic company if I ever do fullfill my dream career.

In the end, this was a rant, but I stand strong to my opinion and say about all this glittery drama. I never thought it would end up having someone leave the face of the internet for good, and it's just weird when they don't even tell you that they're leaving. Noone in general should have to deal with any drama, so why can't we just get along?
