Hey ladies! I have a pretty long blog post today, because this is for my FIRST I-Candy Couture purchase! I took advantage of the Cyber Monday sale, and it was so worth it! I got a free gift, and a free Sample eyeshadow with my purchase! I'm so glad I bought the items I'm about to show you all, because they sold out in a snap!

So, as for easy access to the site on Cyber Monday, it was pretty basic. The options and regulations to the Cyber Monday Sale were clear and specific, and the benefits that were included were awesome! Free shipping, Bogo, and also a free gift with purchase? You can't go wrong with that!
To order, I had to email Honey, the owner of I-Candy Couture, my order so I would be able to get these benefits, and also to inquire about what free eyeshadow sample I wanted. It took about a week, give or take to process my order, since I bought eyeshadows, which are MADE TO ORDER, meaning they aren't stocked on a shelf! Honey makes these mineral eyeshadows as soon as someone orders it, so the shelf life when recieved an used are in better condition, fresh and high quality.
The wait period after confirming that my package was on the way, only took 2 days! I live in Hawai'i, so where you live varies how long it takes, BUT, your package comes with a tracking number, free from the USPS! Because I used Paypal for my purchase, Honey sends an invoice to you, confirming your purchase. This is convenient for those who love to buy big, especially on sales, because Paypal provides a list of what you are buying, and you don't need to confirm it unless you check your payment list, credit number, etc.
So after all this mumbo jumbo, lets get to the good stuff, my goodies!!!!
So this baby came in an envelope that had bubble wrap inside, so it was definitely secure! After opening my package, it contained a white box with a violet purple ribbon wrapped around it, and my eyeshadows all packed tightly and securely in bubble wrap! (As shown above). This pacakge was definitely compact and it looked very professionally packaged.
As for the white box, it has these curvy engravings, giving the box a texture, which I thought was pretty cool. Also, it had the I-Candy Couture logo, which I loved! After opening the box, it contained one buisness card, and my other items that I purchased!
All of the items in the white box , as shown, were encased in a small ziploc bag, air tight for maximum compact packaging. All of the items that were in the white box were all of my earrings! I was surprised to see my free gift waiting for me, the pink bow earrings! Gorgeous! I'll go through each jewelry piece.
Feather earrings with pink and Neutral feathers
This is my first feather earrings, and I love them! I was surprised that the neutral brown feathers had a iridescent green and blue shine to it, so when hitting the light at different angles, you could see the colors! The feathers are secure to the wires, and they don't look messy at all. This was handmade, and I couldn't even tell even if I didn't know it was handmade!

Hello Kitty Earrings
This earring is actually for my niece, because she's crazy about Hello Kitty! This is also handmade, and you can't even tell! I love the backing, which is those regular backings for pierced ears. These aren't huge as I thought they were going to be, so I'm glad it fits on small ears!

Pink Bow Earrings
This is my favorite earrings ever! I look so girly with them, with or without makeup! They're a hot pink, with a pastel light pink in the middle for the actual bow. These are perfect for work at the office, a day out shopping, anything! I have two piercings on each ear, and these are a bit big since it blocks my second piercing hole, but I don't mind, it's one of those things where it's a good thing. If I'm in a rush, I'll just pick up this piece!

So I'm not going to go through each color, unless it doesn't go with a set that I bought. I bought the Twilight Saga Collection, Winter Wonderland Sweets Collection , and Twilght Saga Collection Sample set . I just have to say one thing....pigmentation! All of these colors in these sets are all pigmented, full of shimmer or glitter, depending on your preference to application. I love each and every one of these eyeshadows, for the purpose of doing makeup tutorials on my YouTube Channel .

This is an amazing color for a night out at the club, or for a smokey eye! For me, I have to work it into my crease little by little, because less is more in this situation. You can find this eyeshadow HERE .
I use this as a highlight color for my brow bone and inner corner of my eye. I love that it goes on shimmery wet or dry, so I don't need to do an extra step. It's not a gold color, yet it's not an off white shade. I love this color because it had a pinkish coral orange tone to it, but it's perfect for that shimmery highlight I want!

In Hawaiian, Liliko'i means passion fruit, and this color is gorgeous! I'm not really fond of orange colors, but this color is more than just one bland shade! On different skin tones, it can be a gold light copper color, a creamy shade of an orange sherbet, or a pale pastel orange with a hint of a pale pink and gold shimmers. I love this as a middle lid color to give the effect of a gradient or a pop of color on a dark toned eye look.

Named after one of our fellow promoter's daughter, this color speaks for itself. Roselani in Hawaiian means "Heavenly Rose".On my tan skin, it comes off as a mauve, pale pink color with hints of gold shimmers to it. I'm not one to sport this out during the day, since it was pink, but I love it! It's one of those colors that I don't want to just hide in the back of my makeup drawer.

Full Sized Jars
This purple color is I-Candy Couture's signature color. Honey puts it as "Made with love .....Sincerely, XoXo". This color is similar to Sugar plum in the Winter Wonderland Sweets Collection , but at a darker shade, this color can either range from a dark silver, or a plum like purple color, depending on your application.

Honey's home island, is a beautiful turquoise color on my eyelids. It portrays a perfect sunny day on the ocean, and it is very pigmented when applied wet, so less is more with this color! When looked closely, it has green reflects in them, complimenting the eyeshadow color itself!

All of these items were packaged so nicely, and the labels on the eyeshadows were placed perfectly and they look professional, and represent well with I-Candy Couture! All of the eyeshadow jars were securely wrapped with shrink wrap, so they look as if they were manufactured, but Honey makes MINERAL EYESHADOWS, meaning she makes these wonderful colors herself! The sample clam jars didn't have any shrink wrap on them, but these are air tight, so be careful when opening these! All of the eyeshadows in them have a consistency of powder, and when applied dry or whet, you get an even coverage, and these colors are so pigmented that a little goes a long way!I love these items, and I hope you do too!
